遇到這種情形該怎麼辦？

註冊過期網域名稱，遇到這樣的情形：

unfortunately were not able to renew it. xxxxxxxx is a nonprofit

the agencies that support them. We cannot afford to bid through

看他們之前的紀錄也覺得他們是非營利的機構，
但又不想免費還給他們(起碼要給我註冊費吧~~)
各位覺得如何處理？

你怎麼知道他就一定是之前的站長?

他應該是說，他們不能從sedo.com買回、付仲介費。問你有無其他方法向你買回。

撤掉後，自行和他們交易就好啦！

多少錢的問題？
雖然，信看起來他們好像付不起太多，但自行和他們交易應該也可以出點價呀！
合理價是多少就自行判斷了！

站在domainer立場，通常對這種信都是一笑置之。假設這個網名真的很重要而且有運作，那在從網名過期到被刪除之前將近二個月的時間他們在幹嘛？這段期間內網站一定無法運作，他們都沒人發現嗎？不然就表示當時該網站已是停擺狀態，或者該網名其實只是redirect到另一個網站而已。從任何角度來看，都表示有無該網名對他們其實已不是那麼重要了。
當然以上是以網名投資者角度來看。
當然用其他角度的觀點來看就另當別論。

說的都有理，我只好回信跟他說，
請證明你真的是前任webmaster(雖然我也不知道是真是假)；然後問他們想出多少錢買？

最後再提醒他們，sedo的fee是賣方付錢的，
因為他們用了"brokerage fee"這個字眼，
我只好猜測大概他們以為看到sedo就要出動sedo的broker來買吧 ~what

其實是，
若"真"的是非營利的網站，會想說就便宜的還給"原主人"，
希望他們下次就別在發生這種鳥事了。
