I spoke with Tom Barrett, the president of EnCirca about the 3 letter .PRO domains and he indicated that as of now, three letter .PRO domain is "never" going to be available and that "never" is really a long time therefore, he doesn't think that it will be available before the end of this year.

Dear David,

It nice to talk to you on the telephone.

As I mentioned, EnCirca is fully in compliance with all Registry and ICANN
policies and rules regarding .pro. The Registry has told us that we are not
violating our contract with them with our ProForwarding service.

We do not expect that second level strings less than 4 characters will be
approved by ICANN any time soon.

Great,這至少證實了這不算encirca.biz的「偷跑」行為，而如前大家猜的，屬於註冊局認可的方式。再細推一下邏輯，就是再不搞點花招收錢，註冊局大概要賠本關門或換人做看看了。
按大陸人的說法，這叫做「試點」，如果反應不錯，就會比較多的註冊商跟進了。

再次強調，目前的註冊一切"合法"！小弟所得到的資訊以及個人認知，從不認為是違法。若有興趣請參考一下規範，雖然是英文，還是看一看。

目前的問題不是合不合法的問題，而是我們有沒有保障的問題。

在台灣個人不能註冊.com.tw，如果用弈飛資訊的名義幫一般個人註冊，註冊人寫弈飛資訊，請問合不合法？然後弈飛資訊告訴你，這種服務叫做ＣomTwForward，不需要任何證照查驗，你可以挑你自己喜歡的名字，唯一限制就是不能轉移出去，也就是一定要用弈飛資訊的名義。
