I've been registering domain names at DomainSite for quite some time now and I know that:
1) Yes, the names you reg'd are indeed yours after you register them!
2) You can set up the name servers for your domains in your account.
3) You can sell them!
4) You can push them for free into another DomainSite account, just as with all paid names there.
And I would think that the names can also be transfered to another registar after they have been reg'd for 60 days, if that would be necessary. But that will of course cost you, as with any 'registrar to other registrar' domain transfer
